Maternity

Just sharing a few from my maternity shoot on Sunday. This girl is just so stunning and her kids adorable, can't wait to see this baby, won't have to wait long either as she is due October 10th.

Graduation shoot 08

Was working on some photo's I did last November of my beautiful Niece and thought I would share this one of her and her boyfriend. Would you believe she is only 17 there. As soon as I saw her all done up I couldn't get over the fact she looked like she had just stepped out of a movie, and she was Sophie Loren.

One of Sam

Well it's been quite a month. Sam was diagnosed with SPD and is now on medication but things are still very hard for him. He is still very low on self esteem and confidence in himself which is hard to deal with but hopefully he will get better over time. Here is a photo I took yesterday of him which so shows him for who he is, all 8 years of him. The nurses at the hospital when he was born always said he looked like he had been here before and he always has that aura of being older and hence taking on the troubles of the world on his shoulders instead of being able to be the child he is and enjoy it. It saddens me but we can only be there for him and help as much as we all can. He needs lots of encouragement, and the last thing he needs is being put down which happens at times and totally devastates him.

A visit from Tara and Miss R

Wow how exciting it was to have Tara and Miss R drop around this morning on there way home from Bundy. I haven't seen them for so long and it really is nice to catch up. They both looked so great, I really miss everyone in Moranbah when I see those two. Rabbit couldn't come as he was working but it was still nice to see the rest of the family. I can't get over how fast Miss R is growing up, already nearly 7 year's old and just drop dead gorgeous and sweet to boot.

The issue with shoes.....

Okay here's the story. I needed to get Jet some new shoes, he only has his sneekers and thongs (I think they call them flip flops in the US). Of course most people wear thongs a lot in Australia so he did not see the need to have other shoes. I wanted to get some funky ones so he could wear them for photo's. Soooo I bought this pair and off course mr was not happy with this as he proceeded to tell me that they were girl shoes. I had to take him to the store and show him I got them from the boy's section would you believe. Anyway here are the "shoes".

Yippeee, Jet finally let me take some photo's of him today. I got my new Nikon D700 this week and was really keen to take photo's of the kids. I had two shoots of soccer teams but wanted to use my new camera with my kids and after a lot of begging Jet finally allowed me. How hard are these 7 year olds to convince to allow you to take photo's? Anyway here is one from today.

Long time no post.
